Not sure what exactly has been driving me in the directions of self reflection. 
Maybe, the position of the moon and planets.  Maybe, the conversations I have with friends.  Maybe, the extra loud voices chanting "Wake-up!" Maybe, habits formed. Maybe, my creeping age?  Who knows what one thing has pushed me into perusing for knowledge.  Not sure this is the best word to describe my actions.  Mostly I just love this word.  But, I'm more driven to search and hear knowledge/miracles than casually looking.
